Minor Hockey Association

The objectives of the Canterbury Hockey Association include providing boys and girls the opportunity to learn and play hockey and to establish and maintain hockey programs for all youth age groupings. The association also provides a positive environment for players and be a bridge for those who desire to play competitive hockey and to ensure that each player, to the extent possible, will be able to participate in a hockey program suited to that player’s skill and abilities. They foster and develop sportsmanship, team discipline, self-discipline, self-confidence, respect for others, and enjoyment through participation in hockey and create a broader interest in minor hockey in the Ottawa area and in particular within the Canterbury community.
